He apologized for the service I received and said that this wasn't handled well on their end.... read moreEdit: 6-15-20I have updated this post, as the service manager Derrick Coil did reach out to me the day after posting this review. He apologized for the service I received and said that this wasn't handled well on their end. He wished to take a further look at the car, at no charge to me, along with give me a rental (again at no charge) until the air conditioning issue was resolved. They brought the rental to my work and picked up my Honda which was very nice. After two days, they were able to diagnose the issue (I somehow had zero ounces of Freon in the system.) Once the system had been recharged, the A/C worked. They held it for two more days while looking for issues, found a small leak and repaired that, only charging me for the cost of the parts "at cost" to them. This seemed fair to me as this didn't cause the original issue and was nice to get repaired.So while frustrated with the way I was treated originally, Derrick Coil did take the time to resolve the situation and got the air conditioning up and running. For that I thank them.Below is my original complaint/review of Rolling Hills Honda:Be very careful with the service department. I had the A/C go out on my 03' Honda Accord. Honda at Tiffany Springs took a look at it, did some testing and believed the issue was a faulty HVAC Control Module. Very expensive part ($1200!) but I needed A/C, as I have a toddler in a car seat who gets too hot with no A/C. However, they couldn't get to it for a while, so I asked Rolling Hills Honda if they could get to it sooner. They looked at the diagnosis, agreed with the result, and set me up. They replaced the Control Module and it didn't work. I was charged for the full cost of everything, as I was informed (after the fact, of course) that the new part cannot be taken back out. Upon seeing the paperwork, I see that it is very carefully worded that I am the one who ordered the part and asked that they replace it, and that they did not do the diagnostic themselves, therefore absolving them of any responsibility. Yet I was never warned there could be an issue, was never given any reason to suspect this might not work. He agreed wholeheartedly with the original diagnosis, yet when it didn't work, was able to say that it wasn't his diagnosis, so not his problem.So now I get to roll with still no A/C, but a much lighter wallet for this useless part in my car. I even mentioned to the service guy this seems like a really bad rap. His reply? "Yes it is". Thanks Rolling Hills Honda! read less
